Thursdays are Sai Baba`s days.Earlier I paid no attention to the specially allocated day of the week for a certain diety and thought it was crazy to go to a temple on a day when it was so crowded, after all God can hear us on any other day as well and should`nt all the days be the same for him but now I feel its not really the statue sitting in the temple that is important but the faith of the lakhs of people who congregate there with intense devotion and stand in a queue for hours to get a darshan .For the same reason I feel a specially arranged quickie darshan isnt really beneficial. We should rather stand patiently with the crowd and absorb all the strong positive energy .Perhaps our prayers will be heard better then.
How Sai Baba has gained such popularity is hard to understand.For that matter how does any Baba become popular be it Mahesh Yogi, Baba Ramdev, or Sri SriRavishanker, isnt it the faith ofthe people?
So Sai babas darshan today was a prolonged affair. Not a bad way to pass time standing amongst the devotees.I pray my prayers are heard.

I did look for neera`s house a number of times but could never find her.its like a party or a stage where you enter when ordained get connected with different people and at the end say you goodbyes to all.I wish I could say my goodbyes to allof them.kusum aggarwal, Mission school,usha aggarwal ramnee,valerie allchin ramnee,anita beg ramnee, samina, nasim, anila, madhu Verma, Nazma,leena,Anjum,anup chopra ,Swaroop chopra the twins, Kanchan lata dhal, Kiran talwar,Kiran thakur das, Manjul Bhatnagar Alld,Manju Seth Alld.are some of the names that flash right away.

If only we had the internet then. Even the telephone was a novelty and I have also been witness to the installation of a running water line,Flush toilets, From Khus tattis to coolers to ACs.Talking of telephones their was this touching episode "Sparsh" on the TV about the personal touch of the telephone operater at the other end of the line.The bonds that we are capable of forging over a telephone cable.
